The 1st World Conference on Supported Employment will take place from the 14th to 16th June 2017 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is co-hosted by EUSE (European Union of Supported Employment)  and  EASPD (European Association of Service providers to person with disabilities) and organised by NIUSE – the Northern Ireland Union on Supported Employment.

The conference is organised in partnership with the World Association of Supported Employment, Canadian Association for Supported Employment, Disability Employment Australia and Association of People Supported Employment First (APSE).

Employment for All – A Global Perspective Conference

Call for Papers is now open!

EUSE and EASPD would like to invite you to submit a Call for Paper to presented at the Employment for All – A Global Perspective Conference which will be held in the La Mon Hotel and Country Club, Belfast Northern Ireland from 14th – 16th June 2017.

Papers can be submitted under a range of formats (i.e. presentations, workshops, debates/discussion groups and data collection/research) and themes (Right to Work, The Economy and Employers, Tools and Methodologies and Legal Framework and Policy) which will appeal to and challenge a range of audiences from professionals working in employment initiatives and services and representatives of disabled persons organisations.

This is an opportunity for organisations and individuals working in the employment arena from NGOs, policy makers, government agencies, recipients of employment services, academics and researchers to share their knowledge, skills, innovation and expertise on a range of themes.

Call for papers are particularly welcome from people with disabilities and people from disadvantaged situations.

Closing date for submission is Thursday 15 December 2016.

The 12th EUSE Conference is less than a month away and the excitement is building! The conference is being hosted by the Portuguese Association of Supported Employment (APEA) in partnership with EUSE and will take place in Lisbon, from May 27th to 29th 2015.

The Conference is an opportunity to share Supported Employment significant practices in Europe and beyond that are working to improve diversity in the workplace for disadvantaged groups.

The conference will showcase the many employment practices, innovative initiatives and developments from all across the world that promote equality, citizenship, inclusion, self-advocacy and human rights of individuals most distant from the labour market.
