Portugal, host country of the 12th European Conference on Supported Employment to be held in Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation on May 27th - 29th 2015
The European Union of Supported Employment (EUSE) and the Portuguese Association on Supported Employment (APEA) organize the 12th European Conference on Supported Employment, an event to be held in Portugal next year, 2015, on May 27 th, 28th and 29th at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The main theme of this European Conference will be: "Improving Diversity through Supported Employment."
The organization expects participants from over 35 countries and, as in previous EUSE Conferences (Rotterdam, Dublin, Oslo, Barcelona, Rome, Copenhagen, Prague, among other European cities), there will be presented research results and the best employability practices, entrepreneurship and local development. It will also figure as an opportunity for the various national associations in Europe to share expertise and jointly reflect on the strategic perspectives of this methodology evolution, innovation and its impact on communities.
We will also count, for the first time, with the participation of the newly established Brazilian Association of Supported Employment to which APEA has always expressed full support.
APEA - Portuguese Association on Supported Employment is a non-prof it association, founded in March, 2004. Since its creation has participated and coordinated national and international projects in the framework of the methodology and practice of Supported Employment. It is both a founding member of the Portuguese Network for Corporate Social Responsibility – RSOPT.
